The BQ Flea is a monthly Sunday pop-up at 202 Meeker Avenue in Williamsburg, in the covered space under the BQE, running 10AM to 5PM from April through October. In 2026 it lands on April 12, May 17, June 21, July 19, August 16, September 13 and October 18. Vendors are local makers and small shop owners, so a visit turns up vintage clothes, shoes and jewelry alongside art, ceramics, decor and some furniture. Run by the same team behind the iconic Brooklyn Flea and Chelsea Flea, it is the neighborhood-scale one of the three, and the vendor list changes from month to month. Lugg is an on-demand moving and delivery service that picks up a flea-market find and delivers it into your room of choice the same day. Perfect for a small dresser or a mirror you’d rather not carry home on the subway, or the one big piece you didn’t plan on buying.

BQ Flea also runs special editions, like its first Furniture & Decor Fair, which spotlighted larger statement pieces and one-of-a-kind home furnishings. Booths there were packed with mid-century credenzas, vintage lounge chairs, handmade ceramics, framed art, and eclectic decor finds—each piece carrying its own story. Lugg was on site for that edition, handling same-day delivery for the pieces too big to carry.

The types of vendors at BQ Flea
The BQ Flea is known for its curated mix of local vendors, and this weekend’s Furniture & Decor Fair leaned heavily into design-forward home pieces. Throughout the market, shoppers could browse everything from refinished mid-century dressers and sculptural lighting to vintage textiles, handmade ceramics, glassware, framed art, and more!
It’s a space where restorers, collectors, and emerging designers come together to showcase pieces that are both functional and beautiful—ideal for anyone looking to add character to their home.
We got to chat with vendors like Bella Modern, who specializes in bringing timeless mid-century and Scandinavian furniture back to life through careful restoration and reupholstery.
And into Into the Void customer's, who’s curating 20th-century design from Denmark, Italy, Finland, and beyond, with a sharp eye for sculptural and collectible pieces
How Lugg helped at the furniture & decor fair
For many shoppers, the only thing standing between them and their dream piece was… how to get it home. That’s where Lugg came in.
Throughout the day, we handled on-demand bookings to transport oversized and delicate items safely across the city. From a vintage dining table to antique floor lamps and even mirrors. We made sure each piece went from the market to the customer's home with care.
With Lugg, there’s no truck rental, no hidden fees. Just book on-demand, and your Luggers can show up with the truck and muscle.

Why BQ Flea is so special
BQ Flea has quickly become a community hub for design lovers, vintage collectors, and sustainability-minded shoppers. What makes it especially unique is the atmosphere: a laid-back, festive setting and community energy that makes browsing feel like an afternoon event.
Whether you’re redecorating your apartment or hunting for a standout statement piece, BQ Flea is the kind of place where you’ll find something you didn’t know you needed until you see it.

Making secondhand shopping easy (even if you don’t own a truck)
Buying secondhand is one of the most sustainable and cost-effective ways to decorate your home—but transporting big pieces can be a challenge. That’s where Lugg comes in. We make it effortless to shop sustainably, whether you’re picking up a vintage sofa from a flea market, a bookshelf from Facebook Marketplace, or a dresser from a local estate sale.
With on-demand availability, live tracking, and movers on the way within the hour, Lugg works for:
- Apartment dwellers who don’t own trucks
- Students or military families who move often
- Small business owners and pop-up vendors
If you’re shopping BQ Flea, that means booking same-day furniture delivery in NYC right from the market floor: enter the pickup and dropoff addresses, see the estimate, then book.
And Lugg isn’t only in NYC. Lugg covers more than 4,000 cities and 8,000 ZIP codes, so the same booking works wherever you find something.

Missed the BQ Flea?
If you didn’t make it to this event, there are still plenty of chances to shop from the same community of vendors. The team behind BQ Flea also runs two other legendary NYC markets:
- Brooklyn Flea – a flagship open-air market with antiques, furniture, and vintage finds
- Chelsea Flea – known for curated collectibles and design-forward pieces in Manhattan
Whether it’s BQ Flea, Brooklyn Flea, or Chelsea Flea, Lugg can deliver your finds from any of them—same day.
And if you’re thinking about becoming a vendor yourself, BQ Flea accepts new vendor applications through their website. It’s a great way to share your work, connect with the community, and get your brand in front of design lovers across NYC.
